Our Mission:

At Magic by Mail, we strive to provide top quality magic products at fair and affordable prices while maintaining outstanding customer service to all clients.

By bidding on an auction, or purchasing an item from our eBay store you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.

We try to describe our items as accurately as possible, but from time to time the manufacturer may make minor changes outside our control, and there may be some minor esthetic differences to an item such as color, design or packaging. Pictures shown are generic photographs of a similar item, while these images are as accurate as possible there may occasionally be slight variations in the color, patterning or packaging of the product you receive.

Pictures are a representation of the item listed and may be stock photographs from the manufacturer, because of the large number of items we list it would not be possible to take pictures of each individual item. Jokers on U, Svengali deck and other card tricks pictured where a specific card value is show are sample items, the actual face cards you receive may differ from the picture. Unless specifically requested we cannot guarantee the color of the back of a card. Some cards may only come in one color. We cannot guarantee specific card values. We are unable to offer specific colors of silks in our silk sets. Buyers accept that there may be these changes.

All images and text used in our listings are the intellectual property of Magic by Mail, or used with the permission of the respective copyright owners. If you wish to use one of our images or our text please contact us first for authorization to do so. For items we include that our the intellectual property of others we will refer you to the respective owner.

All purchases must be paid in full within 10 days of sale. Payment must be made in U.S. dollars either through PayPal (preferred), Money Order or check drawn on a USA bank account. Orders will be held until checks clear, this can take up to 10 days. Any check returned due to insufficient funds, or is unpaid for any reason will be subject to a $35 administration charge or that which is prescribed by law.

If you are having problems with sending payment, please contact us, we are very understanding, and under some circumstances we can extend the payment period.

Buyers are entering into a legally binding contract with Magic by Mail at the time of sale, and agree to pay the sale price and associated shipping costs.

We always leave feedback once a payment has been confirmed and cleared, after all you have completed your part of the transaction by then. Please leave feedback for us too. If there is a problem with your purchase please contact us before leaving feedback, we will always work with you to resolve your complaint.

Our listings are being converted to calculate shipping costs based on weight and shipping location. A handling fee per order forms part of your total shipping cost.

We will only ship to your confirmed eBay, or PayPal address. We do not ship to third party addresses unless a prior agreement has been made with Magic by Mail in writing. Shipping prices displayed directly in a listing are to the USA only. Some larger items may be drop shipped and can take longer than our regularly advertised times.

We will require proof of address if we are required to ship to an unconfirmed address.

Only items that qualify, and are purchased during a 10 day period commencing from the date of the first sale, may be combined into a single invoice.

To qualify for combined shipping please do not pay for each item as the auction ends, the order process will already have started, and we may not be able to include these items in combined shipping. Items paid for separately are treated as individual orders.

You may combine items yourself during eBay check out. However to ensure the best shipping rate please contact us after the LAST AUCTION you win has ended for us to combine the items for you. this will guarantee you the best shipping price.

Items that have free shipping, are drop shipped, or it is specifically mentioned in the listing, do not qualify for a combined shipping discount. If you have a multiple item order any item(s) with free shipping may be shipped together with other items from your order.

International shipping charges are higher than those to the USA and can be expensive. Most orders weighing under 1Lb will be shipped by Air Mail letter post, this is an uninsured service and the buyer assumes all responsibility for any loss or damage during shipping, we obtain proof of shipping from the post office for each item shipped. Shipping a package with insurance overseas starts at a minimum of $24 plus insurance. If you are unsure of the cost please contact us prior to bidding. We retain a copy of our invoice post marked by the postal service when they accept the item for shipment.

International buyers may be subject to import duty and taxes on their purchase. These are the responsibility of the buyer. These charges vary from country to country and cannot be determined for you by Magic by Mail.

To get the best value from shipping buyers may wish to purchase several items and request combined shipping as this will save you money.

Our inventory is listed on eBay and is also available through our website. While we maintain a high level of inventory there may be times when an item becomes temporarily out of stock. Re-stocking is generally within 4 days, but should an item not be available you will be notified and given the option of a refund or to have the item placed on back order.

Buyers may retract their own bids but should be aware of eBay's bid retraction policy. We do not cancel sales for you after an auction has ended or you have used the Buy It Now option. Magic by Mail DO NOT CANCEL BIDS ON YOUR BEHALF.

Magic by Mail retain the right to cancel bids if we suspect fraud, or bidding that deliberately disrupts our auctions. In both cases appropriate action will be taken. Bids or sales may also get cancelled from buyers residing in countries to which we do not ship.

Payment reminders are automatically sent 7 days after a sale if a payment has not been received. You are considered a non paying bidder if Magic by Mail have not received payment within 10 days of the sale date. At this point we will file a report with eBay, this will be finalized 7 days later. A non paying bidder strike will then be recorded on your account.

Only items that are faulty will be exchanged 'like for like', providing they are returned to Magic by Mail complete and with all original packaging. Items that are not in resalable condition will be subject to a 15% restocking charge. We cannot accept returns on items you don't like or decide you don't want after purchase. When buying a magic trick, prop accessory etc. you are also buying a secret, and this cannot be returned. Please ask any questions about an item prior to bidding.

Occasionally and item may be out of stock as our inventory is also linked to our on-line store. Should an item be out of stock an option will be given of a store credit or a refund. A return authorization must first be obtained from Magic by Mail. Return shipping costs are at the expense of the buyer. shipping costs cannot be refunded. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
